A special poetry reading was held at Inner Mongolia Normal University on Sept 10 as part of the larger 26th China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival. The reading made full play of the charm of China's northern grasslands. 

The reading was divided into four sections -- love in Inner Mongolia, the light and shadow world, poetic grasslands and looking to the future.

The event was organized by the Hohhot Municipal Bureau of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, the 26th China Golden Roaster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival Organizing Committee, Inner Mongolia Normal University and the Inner Mongolia Broadcasting, Hosting, Recitation and Speech Association.

Well-known Inner Mongolian filmmakers and scriptwriters as well as IMNU officials were present at the reading.

This year's Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival will be celebrated from Sept 13 to 16 in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
