Inner Mongolia Normal University held an awards ceremony on Sept 8 to honor its excellent teachers and to celebrate the 33rd Teachers' Day in China. The special day falls on Sept 10 every year. 

Over one hundred of 210 candidate teachers who had made outstanding educational contributions and cultivated highly-achieving students were presented with awards after several rounds of qualitative and quantitative evaluation.

The event was broadcast live on Netease, one of the leading news Web portals in China, drawing 132,000 netizens across the nation.
