Bai Xiangqun, vice-chairman of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, inspected the construction sites of the football town and the football academy at Inner Mongolia Normal University in Horinger County, Hohhot on August 31. 

At the football town in Shengle Economic Park, Bai inspected the natural pasture land, indoor football stadium and other facilities under construction.

Later, he came to the construction site of the IMNU football academy, learning about the project's progress and its supporting facilities. The football training equipments were also inspected.

Bai urged the project and road network integration to be accomplished on time with good quality. The football academy's software should be improved based on its hardware to ensure that the academy can be put into operations as soon as possible.

The football town has 12 indoor and outdoor football fields, including one stadium for 11 players, one stadium for nine players, six natural grass fields, and four artificial grass fields for 11 football players. The main bodies of the teaching building, apartment building and IMNU stadium are completed. The secondary structures and other external network supporting projects are under construction.

Yun Guohong, president of IMNU, Zhang Haifeng, vice-president of UMNU, and Wang Laixi, member of the Party committee of IMNU, joined the inspection.
