Huzhou company wins gold at Geneva Inventions Expo

Dehua Tubao New Decoration Material, a comprehensive service provider of interior decoration materials based in Huzhou, Zhejiang province, has clinched gold at the 51st International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, a widely recognized annual event dedicated exclusively to inventions.

Tubao's award-winning project focused on green manufacturing technology and the global application of high-stability, functional, eco-friendly boards. This marks the first time a company from Huzhou's green home industry has achieved the top honor at this event.

According to Li Xiaoke, a core technology expert at Tubao, the exhibition featured live demonstrations of the company's eco-friendly boards, which received unanimous praise for their fire-resistant, antibacterial, and wear-resistant properties.

In 2025, Tubao reported overseas revenue of 429 million yuan ($63.38 million), a 39.84 percent increase year-on-year, showcasing its competitive edge in the global market.

The company has established overseas design centers and partnered with local enterprises to develop products tailored to local clients' needs. It has actively participated in international exhibitions to expand its global footprint, while also running stores in Singapore and Australia.

Tubao's strategy focuses on using cutting-edge technologies to develop eco-friendly products. The company has filed 748 patents, including 383 inventions, and operates a national postdoctoral research station to foster high-level talent.
