The highly anticipated snow season in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, kicked off on Nov 19 and will run until Feb 28, offering a 102-day winter wonderland. Mazongshan Ski Resort, one of the season's highlights, will begin trial operations on Nov 23. The resort features 14 ski trails, snow play zones, and snow horse riding experiences, providing visitors with unique Inner Mongolian winter activities.
Mazongshan Ski Resort will introduce several themed events under the banner "Sing and Explore Inner Mongolia, Dance in the Snow at Mazongshan". December's "Chasing Snow Dreams" activities include New Year celebrations and youth skiing competitions. January's "Joyful Snow Adventures" feature family ski days, races, and the "Snake Dance Spring Festival Carnival". February's "Glide into the Wind" lineup includes the V-Park Ski Park Challenge, a dazzling fireworks show, and a winter sports carnival.
To accommodate diverse visitors, the resort has developed a range of ticketing options, including seasonal, night, and family passes. Special discounts for children, students, and beginners make skiing accessible to all. Community-friendly policies include free skiing for university students and weekday promotions, such as discounted family packages, ladies' day deals, and evening skiing specials.
Mazongshan Ski Resort's deputy general manager, Li Man, highlighted the appeal of these initiatives, "The new policies aim to attract a broad audience, ensuring everyone can experience the charm of skiing. From university students to families, our offerings provide something for everyone."
