The 2024 World Dairy Summit hosted by the International Dairy Federation or IDF was held on Oct 15-18 in Paris and the Yili Group – based in Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – was a key player.
Under the theme of "the future proudly committed to a sustainable world", global dairy industry chiefs, experts and organizations gathered in the French capital to discuss innovation and sustainability in their sector.
Yili Group executive president Liu Chunxi attended the Dairy Leaders Sustainable Development Conference at the summit where the Dairy Sustainability Paris Declaration was launched.
Yili was also invited to participate in the IDF board meeting and fermentation innovation forum.
During the summit, Yili won the prestigious New Product Development Innovation Award for its Golden Classic Organic Lactoferrin Milk.
This marked the third consecutive year that Yili had received the IDF Dairy Innovation Award, highlighting its global leadership in dairy innovation and sustainability.

At Yili's exhibition stand, IDF Chairman Gilles Froment praised China's dairy industry for its remarkable growth and Yili's continued contributions to product innovation and sustainability.
At the stand, Yili also unveiled its Green Low-Carbon Milk and the nation's first plant-based integrated cap milk – further demonstrating its commitment to sustainable development.
