Hohhot named one of the fastest-growing destinations during holiday

On Oct 7, Trip.com Group released the 2024 National Day Tourism Consumption Report, revealing that Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, ranks among the top 10 fastest-growing destinations.
Hohhot's unique offerings have become increasingly popular, with tourists favoring more relaxed travel styles such as slow-paced, short trips and wellness vacations.
Visitors flocked to Naobao village in Hohhot's Xincheng district, drawn by its picturesque landscapes. In Huimin district, the Touyan market for premium agricultural and livestock products from Inner Mongolia offered a feast of local flavors. At the same time, tourists strolled Saishang Old Street, enjoying its vibrant atmosphere.
Hohhot also hosted its first-ever Dragon Boat Race in Saihan district, where teams raced across the water in thrilling athletic displays. Hadamen National Forest Park became a top choice for nature lovers, offering stunning seasonal scenery that evolves with the changing autumn colors.
With a mix of cultural attractions, scenic beauty, and engaging events, Hohhot continues to draw visitors seeking a rich and diverse travel experience.
