Recently, Inner Mongolia Kingdomway Pharmaceutical Ltd held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new synthetic biology project in the Togtoh Economic and Technological Development Zone in Hohhot.

The new project covers an area of 488 mu (32.53 hectares). The company aims to transform the project into a world-leading production base for bio-sweeteners, food and health products, pharmaceuticals and raw materials, cosmetics, and a research and development center.

Synthetic biology technology is greener, safer, and more environmentally friendly, representing a vivid manifestation of new quality productive forces. The company plans to complete the construction of the project within three to five years, with an expected additional output value of 4 billion yuan ($552 million).

Inner Mongolia Kingdomway Pharmaceutical Ltd is a nationally recognized high-tech enterprise dedicated to innovation and development in the biopharmaceutical field.

The company's nutritional enhancers and biopharmaceutical products are exported to dozens of countries and regions worldwide. Its primary product, Coenzyme Q10, has been recognized as a national manufacturing champion, with a global market share of over 50 percent. The company also leads the world in the production capacities of Vitamin K2 and NMN.
