New biology project launched with output value of 4bn yuan in Hohhot

Recently, Inner Mongolia Kingdomway Pharmaceutical Ltd held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new synthetic biology project in the Togtoh Economic and Technological Development Zone in Hohhot.
The new project covers an area of 488 mu (32.53 hectares). The company aims to transform the project into a world-leading production base for bio-sweeteners, food and health products, pharmaceuticals and raw materials, cosmetics, and a research and development center.
Synthetic biology technology is greener, safer, and more environmentally friendly, representing a vivid manifestation of new quality productive forces. The company plans to complete the construction of the project within three to five years, with an expected additional output value of 4 billion yuan ($552 million).
