Hohhot opens new tourism express trains to South China

The first direct tourism express train from Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, to the Hong Kong-Macao region was launched on March 15.
Train Y403, a tourism express train, departed slowly from Hohhot East Station with 669 Inner Mongolian tourists on board. They will spend 15 days traveling through destinations such as Jiujiang, Nanchang, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Zhuhai, and Wuyuan.
Starting March 17, grassland railway trains between Hohhot and Guangzhou will depart from Hohhot Station. Trains K4599/8/9 will pass through Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, and Guangdong, stopping at cities such as Hohhot, Baotou, Ordos, Yan'an, Wuhan, Yueyang, Changsha, and Guangzhou.
