The National Center of Technology Innovation for Dairy officially commenced its physical operations on Dec 17.

During the inauguration ceremony, three academicians from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Ren Fazheng, Pang Guofang, and Yao Bin, were appointed experts on the center's Technical Advisory Committee. Hohhot city, Inner Mongolia Agricultural University, and Yili Group jointly signed a strategic cooperation agreement to establish a dairy industry practice base.

In addition, the China-New Zealand Dairy Development Center was established.

As the country's only national dairy technology innovation center, the National Center of Technology Innovation for Dairy focuses on national strategic needs and industrial development. Its goal is to build a globally influential hub for dairy science and technology innovation, bringing together domestic and international innovation resources and leading collaborative innovation projects. The center aims to address the bottlenecks in China's dairy industry and develop cutting-edge leading technologies.

Approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the center is headquartered in Yili Future Intelligence and Health Valley in Hohhot city.

It has established the largest dairy industry top-level think tank in China, conducting high-level collaborative innovation and gradually forming a network of scientific and technological strength and innovation resources. This provides robust technical support for the high-quality development of the dairy industry.
