The renovation of 309 old residential areas for the current year in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, has been largely completed.

After more than a decade of efforts, the renovation project has achieved positive results. From 2021 to 2022, 725 old residential areas have been upgraded, with another 309 due for the same before the end of this year.

This aims to improve the living conditions of local residents, enhance the urban environment, and promote sustainable urban development. The renovation work includes upgrading infrastructure, repairing buildings, improving public facilities, and implementing environmental improvement measures.

The government, together with various departments and organizations, has been actively involved in the renovation work. Efforts have been made to ensure the project progresses smoothly while also addressing the various challenges and issues that arise during the renovation process.
