The Daming Guangfu New Energy Intelligent Manufacturing Base Project and the Zhongke Hehua North Inertial Navigation Research and Manufacturing Base Project commenced in the Hohhot Economic and Technological Development Zone in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Oct 18.
This marks another fruitful achievement for the development zone, which focuses on the new materials and modern equipment manufacturing industries, and emphasizes investment attraction and project construction.
Daming Guangfu primarily engages in the research and development of solar photovoltaic new energy. It is a diversified high-tech enterprise that integrates scientific research, intelligent manufacturing, distribution, and services.
With a total investment of 2 billion yuan ($273 million), the Daming Guangfu project will be constructed in two phases and is expected to be completed within three years. Once fully operational, the project is estimated to generate an annual sales revenue of 10 billion yuan and contribute 200 million yuan in tax revenue every year.
The Zhongke Hehua North Inertial Navigation Research and Manufacturing Base Project represents the latest development and growth of the power electronic equipment manufacturing industry chain in the development zone.
Zhongke Hehua (Yangzhou) Optoelectronics Technology Co is a centrally-run enterprise involved in the research, development, and production of inertial navigation and novel optoelectronic sensor components. The company possesses over 20 core technologies and patents in the fields of navigation, guidance, and control.
With a total investment of 500 million yuan, the project plans to construct a research building, office building, production workshop, testing center, and auxiliary facilities covering an area of 40,000 square meters. Once completed, it will become an important base for navigation, time synchronization, and positioning research and production in the northern region. The project is expected to generate an annual business revenue of 400 million yuan and contribute tax revenue of over 40 million yuan per year.
