The Hohhot Bus Passenger Transportation Center officially started operating in Hohhot – capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – on Sept 5.

This facility is one of 45 main hubs for national automobile passenger stations planned by the Ministry of Transportation. With a total floor space of 46,471 square meters, it is located next to Hohhot East Railway Station.

The center is designed to handle up to 20,000 passengers a day and it has already implemented convenient transfer services for local public bus routes – allowing passengers to seamlessly cross over transport modes without leaving the station.

For the next phase, Hohhot plans to integrate the operations of three other automobile passenger stations and their routes – further enhancing the city's transport network and ensuring efficient and reliable urban transportation services for its residents and visitors.
