Yili Global Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park was recently conferred with the title of "National Tourism Science and Technology Demonstration Parks in 2022", in proceedings organized and evaluated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The industrial park is owned by Chinese dairy giant Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group, or Yili – based in Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

It became the only enterprise in the autonomous region to be so rated this time – and was also the only industrial enterprise in the country to be put on the list.

Features in Yili Global Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park include the Grassland Milk Culture Museum, Chilechuan Ecological Smart Ranch and the Intelligent Manufacturing Experience Center. They also include the Liquid Milk Global Intelligent Manufacturing Benchmarking Base and the Milk Powder Global Intelligent Manufacturing Benchmarking Base.

The industrial park project has developed and applied a smart park management platform based on the creation of "intelligence + tourism services". Through the collection and analysis of tourist big data, it has refined the management of scenic spot operations, scientific decision-making and efficient services.

In terms of the venue's layout, a number of technologies – such as VR, XR, and naked-eye 3D – are being used to create a smart tourism environment and to promote the technological development of the cultural and tourism industry.
