A-level scenic spots in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, have reportedly started to reopen to the public, with strict COVID-19 prevention and control measures being observed, according to local media reports.

Ventilation, cleaning and disinfection are being required for the public places.

The venues that have reopened are also required to not receive more than 50 percent of their normal capacity of people.

Furthermore, they must strictly implement regulations covering appointments, real-name registrations, temperature measurements, the wearing of masks and the verification of the Qingcheng Code.

The venues should also be equipped with COVID-19 antigen self-test kits.

Zhaojun Museum, located in the city, is a popular national 4A-level scenic spot.

Under the prevailing requirements firs epidemic prevention and control, the maximum number of visitors to the museum in a single day is not to be more than 1,600 people.

In addition, a maximum of 250 people can be reserved for one hour per time period, of whom 100 people can be reserved from 12:00-13:00.
