Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co Ltd, or Yili Group – headquartered in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – on Feb 23 delivered 1,000 sets of anti-epidemic packs, 100 items of heating equipment and other badly needed items worth 200,000 yuan ($31,640) to community workers in the city.

The next day, Yili joined hands with the Chinese Red Cross Foundation to donate 200,000 yuan worth of products to Tumd Left Banner, administered by Hohhot city, to support the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic.

To date, Yili has donated products and materials worth nearly 1.2 million yuan, to support the current round of epidemic prevention and controls in Hohhot.

Recently the temperature in Hohhot has been low – and with most of the medics remaining in the front line of outdoor community work, some staff members responsible for nucleic acid testing have been wearing protective clothing all day.

After learning about their hardship, Yili Group promptly brought in a batch of packages – including gloves, scarves, hats, hand creams, hand sanitizer gels, medical masks and other items – adding milk and milk tea powder products to each package.
