Yili donates supplies to medics fighting COVID-19 in Hohhot

Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co Ltd, or Yili Group – one of China's dairy industry giants – on Feb 22 delivered more than 2,300 cartons of Jindian milk and 1,200 bottles of mineral water to medical staff members fighting COVID-19 in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
In the wake of the current round of the outbreak in Hohhot, some 1,000 medical staff from Ordos, Wuhai, Chifeng, Tongliao, Ulaanqab streamed in to help with the anti-virus efforts in Hohhot.

As a leader of China's dairy industry, it is widely said that Yili has always responded promptly when major incidents occur.
Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020, Yili has invested a total of 280 million yuan ($44 million) in virus prevention and controls. Some 60 million yuan was donated to the China Red Cross Foundation alone, to support epidemic prevention and control in Inner Mongolia and Hohhot.
In 2021, in the process of fighting the COVID-19 epidemic in Hohhot, Hulunbuir and Ejine Banner – and during the snow disaster relief in Tongliao – Yili donated products worth 3 million yuan.
