2022-01-27 (chinadaily.com.cn)

Tiger-themed Chinese paintings by famous locally-born artist Hao Jianwu are on display at the Inner Mongolia Art Museum in Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

Hao, in his forties, excels at drawing tigers. His paintings of tigers have a special charm, as they are endowed with rich emotions and meanings. His recent works also incorporate elements such as rock paintings, bronze ornaments, and stone carvings from the Qin (221-206 BC) and Han (206 BC-AD 220) dynasties.

The exhibition started on Jan 25, and the 115 recent works will be exhibited until early March 2022.
