Yili donates supplies to help Hulunbuir fight COIVD-19

The COVID-19 prevention and control supplies donated by Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co recently arrived in the city of Hulunbuir, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region. The donation will support the work of local healthcare workers battling the pandemic.

The supplies are worth around 500,000 yuan ($78,426) and include Yili milk and milk powder. 

Yili has made a number of donations in Inner Mongolia this year, including sending products worth 2.45 million yuan to support epidemic prevention in Hohhot and Ejine Banner, as well as to Tongliao after the city was hit by a devastating blizzard.

As a leading enterprise in China's dairy industry, Yili has a history of responding promptly when major incidents occur.

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020, Yili has invested a total of 280 million yuan in virus prevention and control.

Some 60 million yuan was donated to the China Red Cross Foundation to support epidemic prevention and control in Inner Mongolia and the city of Hohhot.

To date, Yili has provided support to doctors, soldiers, police officers, researchers, and community workers in 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across the country, and has also offered assistance to countries including Iraq, the Netherlands, Uruguay, Indonesia, and Thailand.
