Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co Ltd (Yili Group) was granted the 19th China Quality Award at an awards ceremony that was held in Beijing on Dec 2, becoming the only enterprise in the dairy industry to obtain such an honor in China.

The China Quality Award is the highest honor in terms of quality that is awarded to enterprises for their excellence in management and outstanding achievements in product quality, the economy, and benefiting society. 

It is another authoritative award obtained by Yili Group in the quality field within half a year after receiving the China Quality Nomination Award in September this year.

It is the country and industry's high recognition of "Yili is quality".

Yili Group is headquartered in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, and is the top dairy enterprise in China and the largest in Asia.

Statistics show that more than 100 million Yili products are delivered to consumers every day. Each year, over 1.3 billion Yili products are sold in China.

"The quality of Yili not only makes Yili a favorite among Chinese people, but also promotes the overall improvement of the quality of the dairy industry and the industry's value chain," said Han Furong, former dean of the School of Economics and Management of Beijing University of Technology and deputy director of the expert committee of the China Association for Quality.

It is expected that Yili will continue to play a leading role in the future by promoting high-quality development of the industry and providing consumers with a wider selection of enhanced products, Han added.
