Yili donates milk powder worth 745,000 yuan to Tongliao

Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co Ltd (Yili Group), one of China's dairy industry giants, donated 1,037 cartons of milk powder worth 745,000 yuan ($116,592) to the Red Cross Society of Tongliao to support snow disaster relief efforts on Nov 16.

As a leading enterprise in China's dairy industry, Yili has always responded promptly when major incidents occur.

The company has donated anti-epidemic supplies worth some 1.7 million yuan to Hohhot and Ejine Banner in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020, Yili has invested a total of 280 million yuan in virus prevention and control.

Some 60 million yuan was donated to the China Red Cross Foundation to support epidemic prevention and control in Inner Mongolia and Hohhot.

To date, Yili has provided support to doctors, soldiers, police officers, scientific researchers, and community workers in 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across the country, and helped people in countries such as Iraq, the Netherlands, Uruguay, Indonesia, and Thailand.
