The first shipment of COVID-19 prevention and control supplies donated by Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co arrived in Ejine Banner, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Oct 26.

The goods included Yili milk and milk powder.

The second shipment will arrive in the banner soon.

As a leading enterprise in China's dairy industry, Yili has always responded promptly when major incidents occur.

In 2003, the company immediately donated 7 million yuan ($1.1 million) to aid in the fight against SARS. During the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008, Yili promptly delivered milk to people in the disaster area.

After the floods in Henan and Shanxi provinces this year, Yili shipped disaster relief supplies to the disaster-stricken areas.
