Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co, based in Hohhot, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, plans to further promote digital transformation and upgrading, signing a cooperation agreement with domestic e-commerce giant JD on Oct 22.

In addition to building a national-level supply chain artificial intelligence demonstration application platform, the two parties will jointly promote strategic cooperation in dairy retail, logistics, and digital technology.

Yili and JD have a long history of cooperation. As early as 2017, the two companies carried out in-depth cooperation to realize the integration and development of traditional enterprises and the digital economy.

It has built a smart factory with an automated production line that seamlessly integrates smart boxing robots, palletizing robots, and winding robots, greatly improving production efficiency.

In addition, it has integrated information provided by more than 5 million sales terminals, 1 billion consumers and a large number of partners to build a big data radar platform to accurately understand consumer needs and continuously optimize products.
