Hohhot adds two more national 'little giant enterprises'
Two enterprises based in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, have been selected as one of the national "little giant enterprises," according to the third batch of professional, elaborate, distinctive and neoteric "little giant enterprise" list, which was released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
So far, the number of Hohhot-based national "little giant enterprises" stood at two, and that of autonomous region level "little giant enterprises" stood at 12.
In 2020 and 2021, a total of 9 million yuan ($1.39 million) of reward funds have been issued to the companies.
"Little giant enterprises" mainly refer to enterprises in the early stages of development in high-end industries such as high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy and new materials.
They are usually referred to as being "professional, elaborate, distinctive and neoteric." They are generally characterized by displaying good business performance, being highly scientific and technological, and having advanced equipment and technology, a mature management system, a strong market competitiveness, and great development potential.
