Hohhot, the capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, launched and implemented the Preferential Policy for Investment Promotion in Hohhot Dairy Development Zones, which aims to boost development in its dairy industry, Inner Mongolia Daily reported.

The city is actively developing two major dairy development zones, the Chilechuan Dairy Zone and the Helinger Dairy Zone, to focus on promoting the high-quality development of the dairy industry.

Hohhot will continue to support the acceleration of the construction of two industrial chain upgrade projects created by Yili Modern Smart Health Valley and Mengniu China Dairy Industrial Park to attract and drive the development of upstream and downstream enterprises in the dairy industry chain at home and abroad.

The Preferential Policy for Investment Promotion of Hohhot Dairy Development Zones has been promulgated and implemented in the region.

The policy consists of seven preferential policies and incentives, including supporting enterprises to attract investment, granting project loan interest discounts, encouraging accelerated project construction, and supporting enterprises to attract talents.

More preferential policies will be given to projects that have invested more than 1 billion yuan ($155 million) in the dairy industry development zones or have a major supporting and leading role in the development of the dairy industry development zones.
