Hohhot continues to optimize its business environment
Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, has been making good progress in terms of promoting its business environment, with steps taken in preferential policy funds, social security funds and enterprise services, according to local media reports.
Following the agreement reached at the city's recent commitment meeting for investment promotion projects, the city's finance bureau promptly allocated 25 million yuan ($3.91 million) of preferential policy funds to Inner Mongolia Zhonghuan Co.
On April 9, the company received a second batch of funding totaling 56.57 million yuan.
In terms of the distribution of various social security funds, the basic pension for urban and rural residents, the subsistence allowance for urban and rural residents, and the basic living assistance allowance for people in need are all paid in full and on time every month, to ensure people can get by.
As of the end of May, the finance bureau had issued and allocated 127 million yuan in various employment subsidies, 15.24 million yuan in urban and rural medical aid funds, 255 million yuan in various public health subsidies, and 342 million yuan in subsidies for people in need.
In addition, the bureau has been providing consultation services for residents and enterprises on enterprise-related matters, social policies, government procurement, as well as on accounting examinations.
