Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, is to launch a series of cultural tourism activities starting on May 19, with the aim of promoting the city's tourism resources, reports Hohhot Daily.

According to the city's plan, on May 19, the first Beijing Tourism Cooperation Summit in Five North China Provinces and Urban Areas is scheduled to open.

On May 19, the first "Beautiful Qingcheng, Prairie City" Hohhot Tourism Development Conference was held at the city's Chilechuan Grassland.

On June 11-12, the final of a national professional model contest will be held.

The opening ceremony of the Huayi Brothers' Chilechuan Star Grand Theater will be held on June 26, and on July 3, a grassland music festival will be held at the theater.

On May 19, Inner Mongolia's main venue for the 2021 "China Tourism Day" will also be set up in the Chilechuan Grassland.
