Ethnic orchestral work makes debut in Hohhot
An original ethnic orchestral work entitled Mongolian Horses premieres in Hohhot, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, at a concert on the night of Dec 24. As an integral part of Inner Mongolian culture, the region's horses have a profound meaning. The orchestral piece integrates the abstract spiritual connotations -- as well as the qualities of loyalty, courage and perseverance -- in the day-to-night existence and deep emotional lives of people living on the grasslands and the Mongolian horses.
