Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group (Yili Group) won the Significant Achievement Award at the 2020 Global Science and Technology Innovation Conference held in Shanghai on Oct 28.

Yili Group won the honor for its Key Technologies and Industrialization of Infant Formula Milk Powder Development based on Chinese Breast Milk Ingredients Project, led by its infant formula milk powder brand Jinlingguan.

The project has overcome technical problems such as the difficult decomposition of β-casein and easy oxidation of lipids in infant formula milk powder, and has established an innovative system for infant milk powder iteratively upgraded based on the results of research into Chinese breast milk.
