Hohhot issues guide for reopening major scenic spots
Hohhot in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region has issued a guide for the reopening of major tourist attractions in the city, local officials said.
It focuses on the resumption of operations at scenic spots of or above A-level, as well as measures for COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control.
In the guide, comprehensive evaluations and judgments for opening conditions and the necessity of scenic spots must be made.
Each A-level tourist attraction must be approved by the local Party committee and government before being reopened -- and the decision filed with the municipal authorities.
Officials said it is necessary to establish and improve the epidemic prevention and control mechanisms.
Scenic spots that are to be reopened should focus on the Emergency Plan for the Prevention and Control of Epidemic Situations in Scenic Spots and strengthen their internal prevention and control management.
