North China’s Hohhot ensures railway safety
Yang Baoqing on Feb 29 patrols a section of the Zhangjiakou-Hohhot High-speed Railway which is located in Hohhot, in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region. The line, being one of the important components of the Beijing-Lanzhou High-speed Railway, has a design speed of 250 kilometers per hour. After its official launch, a great deal of comfort and convenience was on offer to passengers in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area. Vigilant staff scrutinize the screens on Feb 29 at the Hohhot Railway Public Security Office's Intelligent High-speed Rail Security Patrol and Control Center. In order to ensure railway safety, Hohhot has built an intelligent high-speed rail security patrol and control center, relying on 854 high-definition cameras and 99 patrol guard booths along the line.
