Yili Group makes donation to Huoshenshan Hospital in Wuhan

Dairy giant Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co Ltd -- Yili Group -- on Feb 23 donated 7,303 cartons of Changyi lactobacillus drinks and 2020 cartons of pure milk to Huoshenshan Hospital in Wuhan, in Central China's Hubei province, through the China Red Cross Foundation, according to officials.
Yili Group was the first dairy company to deliver milk to Huoshenshan Hospital.
Huoshenshan Hospital, a pop-up emergency hospital to treat novel coronavirus pneumonia, started to receive patients on Feb 23.
Officials said that after it was officially opened, the facility has greatly reduced the pressure on medical resources in Wuhan and has become one of the most important hospitals in the city fighting the epidemic.
The numbers of coronavirus patients cured and being discharged from Huoshenshan Hospital has been increasing, with the maximum at 71 per day.
As a leading company in the field of healthy food, Yili Group sent milk and drinks to protect medical workers' physical health and continue to help fight the outbreak.
