Extreme sports competition thrills Hohhot locals

An international extreme sports competition kicked off in Hohhot in Inner Mongolia autonomous region on July 6.
Over 100 extreme sports lovers from 17 countries and regions -- including China, the United States, the Netherlands, Australia, Russia, Thailand, and Austria -- participated in the competition.
The event includes competitions for skateboarding, bicycle motocross (BMX) and free style inline skating.
In 2016, skate boarding and BMX were added into the Tokyo Olympics Games by the International Olympics Committee, helping promote the development of extreme sports across the country.
