Hongshiya National Ecological Park

Hongshiya National Ecological Park, situated in the middle of Daqingshan Mountain, is 50 kilometers away from the urban area of Hohhot, capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
The park received nearly 300 million yuan ($43.53 million) in investment and consists of Hongshiya Temple, the Daqingshan Anti-Japanese Invasion Memorial Hall, and 100,000-mu (6,667 hectares) of alpine grassland.
Hongshiya Temple integrates Buddhism, Taoism, and Tibetan Buddhism and opened to the public after being restored in 2008. It hosts the temple fair on the second day of the sixth month of the lunar calendar every year.
There are nearly 3,000 sheep, 500 cattle, 200 horses, 100 camels, and 100 Tibetan yaks being raised on the alpine grassland.
As a national 4A-level tourist attraction, the Hongyashi National Ecological Park has become a popular place for religious and cultural tours, sightseeing tours, and red education tours.
