2019-06-17

Dairy company Yili Group has emerged as China's most popular FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) brand, serving around 90.9 percent of households in China, according to the latest data from Kantar Worldpanel. This was Yili's fourth year on the list.

Last year, Chinese households bought Yili's products an average of 7.5 times per year, and the frequency of purchases continues to rise.

Yili secured its leading position by adequately meeting consumer demands for convenience and health.

Yili has a history of catering to a wide array of customer needs, giving them a compelling reason to choose their products over those of competitors.

The dairy company now offers more than 1,000 products, and the sales revenue of its top three products has surpassed 10 billion yuan ($1.45 billion).

According to Li Wei, director of the Development Research Center of the State Council, brands stand out by offering unique products that help propel China's economic growth.
