A delegation led by Michael Creed, Minister for the Agriculture, Food and the Marine Department in Ireland visited Yili Group on May 16, aiming to improve communications and exchanges in research of dairy products and more.

During the meeting, Yili's leaders briefed delegates on efforts being made in improving the quality of products and expanding the business across the world, emphasizing the company's achievements in promoting its global strategy.

Delegates visited Yili's museum and complimented the group for the dairy company's rapid growth.

Michael Creed expressed his hopes that Irish dairy companies would boost their business with Yili.

The meeting is expected to promote the exchanges and trade between dairy companies from both sides.

According to Yili, it plans to expand its links with Irish dairy companies to build a global dairy platform for integrated development.  

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Ireland. Officials said exchanges between companies in China and Ireland are on the up, reinforcing sound economic cooperation that has existed between the two countries for decades.
