Dairy giant Yili Group was the recipient of two awards at the 20th "Golden Bull" award for Chinese listed companies held in Chengdu, the capital city of Southwest China's Sichuan province, on Nov 15.

This is the 16th time that Yili has won a Golden Bull Award, and it marks the first time it has won the newly-established award for visionary companies.

Qualification for the new award is assessed by financial indicators, including the ability to repay debt, remunerate staff, manage assets, and to achieve further growth.

As the leading dairy enterprise in China, Yili's revenues and net profits have been increasing for many years. According to the firm's annual financial reports, Yili's net profits have increased from 665 million yuan ($95.86 million) in 2009 to 6.03 billion yuan in 2017. Its revenues saw double-digit growth from 2008 to 2015 and exceeded 68 billion yuan in 2017, with a year-on-year increase of 12.29 percent. Furthermore, it is forecast to record 80 billion yuan in revenues this year.

By the end of 2017, the company's market value had reached 200 billion yuan, meaning the company is now 20 times larger than 10 years ago.

According to data from Nielsen, Yili's domestic market share has also been steadily increasing, reaching 22.3 percent in the first three quarters of this year; as of August, the market share of online and offline retail channels for Yili's liquid milk is 37.5 percent, ranking it first in the industry.

With the accelerated flow of high-quality resources in the global industrial chain, Yili utilizes ideas and technologies from around the world to continuously develop and launch high-end products, optimize its product structure, and drive continuous growth in its vast overseas market. By continuing to build a "global symbiotic economic circle", Yili has built a global smart chain, providing new ideas for the global collaborative development of China's dairy industry and mutually-beneficial cooperation.
