The closing ceremony of the first session of the 13th Hohhot Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) closed on Jan 10.

Sun Jianhua, chairman of the 13th Hohhot Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, spoke to the 342 deputies attending the closing ceremony, urging them to create new pathways toward the construction of a modern socialist Hohhot.

“CPPCC members have made sound proposals on significant and contentious issues facing the city," Sun said, adding that all members should remain grounded in serving the people.

The meeting approved the work report of the standing committee of 13th Hohhot Municipal committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), the draft political resolution of the annual session and other reports.
