Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co Ltd won the Special Contribution Award for its Yili Ark project during a charity gala held in Beijing on Dec 26, 2017.

Yili Ark, initiated by Yili, the Western China Human Resources Development Foundation and the Chinese Red Cross Foundation (CRCF), was launched in 2012.

With a focus on safety education for children, it aims to provide solutions and help  develop a model of safety education for children, with safety training, field investigation and safety exercises.

“Building a safe environment for the next generation is a goal of our country, and also the mission of Yili Ark,” said Pan Gang, chairman of Yili Group.

According to the group, Yili Ark has launched more than 70 training activities in 25 provinces and regions across China, benefiting over 200,000 children.

Since its establishment, Yili has taken its corporate social responsibility very seriously.  In addition to Yili Ark, it has also launched various charitable projects, such as a targeted poverty alleviation project called Yili Nutrition 2020.
