The 12th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), the Chinese government's policy advisory body for the city of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, opened its 5th session at the city's People's Hall, on Feb 19.

More than 300 CPPCC members from all walks of life assembled there for four and a half days to deliver proposals and discuss the city's reform and development.
