Hohhot runs faster towards boosting its big data sector with the assistance of the country’s information industry businesses.

The park was founded to be a cloud computing data center in Hohhot by the country’s State-owned telecommunication company China Telecom with a total investment of 17.3 billion yuan ($2.5 billion). It covers an area of about 1 million square meters. The project intends to provide all-round intelligent information services for government agencies, enterprises, and individuals, as an impetus for the industrial structure upgrade and restructure in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
