Hohhot came in 50th in new commercial housing price hikes in June among 70 large and medium-sized Chinese cities. The city moved up seven slots, with prices up 100.2 percent month-on-month. 

A total of 10 cities saw prices go down this month; there were only four the previous month. Five cities saw prices level off; only four did the previous month. A total of 55 cities saw prices go up, while five saw a decline. Hefei witnessed the biggest growth of all, at 4.9 percent.
