Hohhot saw 50 billion yuan invested in its tertiary industry over the first six months, up 29.6 percent year-on-year. 

Investment in real estate was 23.3 billion yuan, accounting for 32 percent of the total. Water conservancy, environmental protection and public facility management received 15 billion yuan, accounting for 20.7 percent. Transportation, logistics and mail businesses enjoyed the biggest growth, with 5.2 billion yuan in investment, accounting for 7.1 percent. Culture, sports and entertainment investment doubled, and investment in neighborhood services, repair and other services increased by 120 percent.
