A township with an emphasis on the development of the healthcare industry was listed as a characteristic town of Hefei city, Anhui province, on Jan 3. 

The township, created by the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, will sit in the core area of the prestigious local Comprehensive National Science and cover an area of 3.05 square kilometers. 

Its convenient location puts it a 20-minute drive from Xinqiao International Airport, 40 minutes from Hefei South Railway Station and only 1 km away from metro line 4, which is now under construction. 

With an industrial dedication to healthcare, the township will develop intelligently with big data support and focus on the integration of city and industry. Precision medicine will be of top priority while the industries of healthcare big data, bio-pharmaceuticals and high-end medical apparatus and instrument manufacturing will advance side by side. 

Gaining solid support from the local government, the site will be dedicated to both industrial segmentation and accelerating the development of complete industrial chains.
