Hefei Dashu Mountain Cultural Cemetery, a national 3A scenic area, is located at the southwest foot of the scenic and luxuriant Dashu Mountain in the western suburb of Hefei. It was formerly the Dashu Mountain Cemetery for Revolutionaries which was founded in 1965, covering an area of 8.8 hectares. In 2002, it was reconstructed as Dashu Mountain Cultural Cemetery.
Now the park includes a revolutionary martyr square with a monument, an area for public security education, an area for red-cross education and a humanistic memorial hall. Since its opening, a series of distinctive activities regarding patriotic education with varying content, new forms and brilliant themes have been carried out in the cemetery, significantly improving social participation and public education.
