HAITC teacher wins Asian Education Award
Varsha Binth Saif, a faculty member of the Language and Cultural Studies Center at the HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College of Hainan University (HAITC), received the Asian Education Award 2024 on Nov 9.
The award ceremony took place in Bangkok, Thailand, recognizing exceptional achievements in the field of education. It brought together educators from 21 Asian countries to celebrate this grand occasion.

Saif joined the HAITC as an English instructor in the fall of 2023. Prior to this role, she served as an assistant professor of English at several universities in India and taught language and literature for nearly three years at an international school in Bangkok. In October this year, Saif earned her PhD in English language and literature.

This award not only highlights her remarkable contributions to English teaching and her significant influence on students but also recognizes her teaching methods and abilities.
