Team from Harrow Haikou visits HAITC
A team of six students from Harrow International School, Haikou Campus, led by Christopher Beinor, director of college counseling, visited the Hainan University-Arizona State University Joint International Tourism College (HAITC) on May 29.
Upon arrival, the team was warmly received by Wang Lin, dean of the HAITC, and Kelly Bricker, director of the college.

At the lecture on student career development and future planning, Dr. Huber, a teacher from the HAITC, guided students from Harrow Haikou to explore their inner desires, identify their strengths and weaknesses, ignite their internal motivations and potential, and emphasize the importance of conscientiousness in daily life while nurturing future professional capabilities and promoting self-directed development.
Angelo Maria Cimino from the HAITC talked about the exploration of research fields through investigating personal interests and abilities. He also shared the distinctive architecture and customs of Hainan to inspire the students to pursue research in this area and aim for academic excellence in their future endeavors.
The lecture concluded with a lively discussion involving senior students and teachers, who answered questions and provided guidance regarding university selection.
Subsequent to the lecture, team members toured the HAITC, where they learned about the college's history, research achievements, student activities, and entrepreneurial outcomes.
The students expressed their admiration for the campus environment and academic atmosphere, and expressed the desire to participate in extracurricular internships at the HAITC.
The trip to the HAITC helped students gain valuable insight and further strengthened bilateral connections, said Beinor.
