Dr. Haiying Lin
Dr. Haiying Lin holds a PhD in Sustainability Management from George Mason University (USA) in 2010. She is now a professor and PhD supervisor in HAITC, a joint international college established by Arizona State University and Hainan University. She serves at the editorial board for Business and Society journal and acts as the coordinator for Golden Sustainability Network in China. She was the judge of Hult Prize supported by Clinton Foundation and participated in the U.S. Corporation-NGO Task Force sponsored by the Pacific Basin Research Center of Soka. As the principal investigator of a Canadian Social Science and Humanities Research Council insight grant entitled “Cross-sector Solutions to Environmental Issues”, she led a global research team to win the 2018 and 2014 Routledge Best Paper Award in Social Partnership, the 2014 European EFMD Case Writing Competition (under the “Corporate Social Responsibility” category), and the 2011 Emerald Best International Symposium Award. After returning to China in 2020, She won four research grants including the 2022 National Social Science Fund (22BGL232 “Cross-sector Solutions to Rural Revitalization”). Her research projects were published at high end journals such as Business Strategy and the Environment (impact factor 10.801), Organization and Environment (impact factor 7.919), Journal of Business Ethics (impact factor 6.331), and Business and Society (impact factor 7.792). Her research was showcased in world-first initiatives and events hosted by the Network for Business Sustainability in 2017, and featured in the Annual Review of Social Partnerships in 2014 and multiple award-winning symposiums.
