Gao Diangong meets with team from ASU
Kelly Bricker, director of the Hainan University-Arizona State University Joint International Tourism College (HAITC), led a team from Arizona State University (ASU) to visit Hainan University (HNU) on May 21.

Gao extended a warm welcome to the team, affirmed the outcomes yielded in educational cooperation between the two sides, and introduced the efforts made by HNU in promoting the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port in recent years.
According to Gao, the HAITC, a joint training program established by the two universities, has set a pattern for Sino-foreign cooperative education in Hainan.
He expressed his hope that both sides will continue to deepen inter-school ties in broader fields and disciplines to enhance students' competence and competitiveness in international cooperation and exchanges.
Bricker mentioned that ASU has attached great importance to the joint training program’s development. She added that she hopes her visit to the college will strengthen communication and contribute to the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port by bringing in more talented individuals.
