A delegation from Harrow International School (Haikou) visits HAITC for further cooperation
Li Yan, president of Harrow International School (Haikou) on the Chinese side, led a group to visit HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College (HAITC) at Hainan University on February 23.
During their meeting, Wang Lin, dean of the HAITC, expressed a warm welcome to Li. She gave an introduction to the college and talked about its achievements in the utilization of international education philosophies and international talents, along with its experience in the organization of foreign exchanges and scientific research in teaching.

Wang called on the two sides to deepen their ties, make full use of policies available in the building of Hainan into a free trade port and an international innovative education island, and facilitate their bilateral cooperation on personnel training and talent sharing.

Li said that she was deeply impressed by tremendous progress made by the HAITC in its development. Noting that the building of Hainan Free Trade Port and the International Innovative Education Island has further bolstered the cultivation of talents imbued with traditional Chinese knowledge and international vision.
Li added that Harrow International School (Haikou) looks forward to strengthening its cooperation with the HAITC on teaching practices and the cultivation of research orientations, as well as promoting the integrated development between international education and the building of Hainan Free Trade Port with concerted efforts.

During their meeting, both Wang and Li agreed that the HAITC will conduct a return visit to Harrow International School (Haikou) in the near future and explore effective cooperative approaches.
Those in attendance of the meeting included Ken Du, director of the Department for Bilingual Class Affairs at Harrow International School (Haikou); Chris Beinor, director of the Department for Further Education Guidance at Harrow International School (Haikou); Zhang Xianfeng and Li Ping, vice-deans of the HAITC.
